Do you have problems sleeping at night? Many teens have troubles sleeping at night, let’s take a looks at The Top Five Things that may cause you to stay awake at night…
The Top Five Things That Keep You Awake At Night:
1. Your Mattress.
For many people having an uncomfortable mattress that does not fit their body causes them to stay awake at night…some even need special therapeutic mattresses.
2. Daytime Naps.
If you have constant daytime naps this may cause you to have more energy at night, therefore keeping you awake.
3. Staying Up Too Late.
Some (like me) tend to spend longer nights, causing there bodies to go through energy spikes, shakiness and anxiety. All of this can keep you awake at night.
4. Caffeine Beverages.
If you have a drink or a food item chucked full of caffeine that can definitely keep awake all night long buzzing with unwanted energy.
5. Stress.
Stress can keep you awake at night, if you have a problem and are trying to sort it out in your mind your focus shifts to that singular problem; keeping you awake.
- - - - - - - - -
I highly recommend that if you have a sleeping problem at night, try to sort it out immediately. It’s important for you to get quality sleep so that you HGH (Human Growth Hormones) can kick in and do their job. Try to find the reasons why you are having difficulties sleeping at night.
Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

This post will be focused on the determination and focus you will need to make out a weight losing schedule:

^ See how determined she is to climb up the face of that cliff, well that’s the same determination you need to get up every morning and work out.
I admit it, its not fun at first. You feel worn out and dragged out when you first start a work out schedule to burn off those pounds.
But once you get at it, and find your niche for these work out routines you will began to get used to it. So will your body and that will help you get those pounds off.
You can’t quit on what you start, you have to force yourself to workout. But you will enjoy the results if you keep at it, you can even see results within two week…but it depends on your schedule.
Q & A
Wow this sounds rough. What should I do to work off these pounds?
Everybody is in their own situation in life, it’s hard to recommend what exactly to do or what to use when everyone has their own unique lifestyle and home life. But I have to recommend the basic’s, and here they are:
Treadmill

The treadmill is one of the most recommended workout machines out their, it’s a standard issue workout machine.
Stair Steps

You can either use the machine, or you can actually go up and down your stair for ten minutes (when you start out) I am actually going up and down my stairs for twenty-five minutes and I am seeing incredible results so I highly recommend doing this :D.
Bicycling (machine)

You can either use the machine or you can really go bicycling. Its fun my dad loves to bicycle ride and I do as well, I highly recommend this work out routine =D.
Basic Aerobics

This is one of the best ways to lose weight, just basic workout routines. You can learn all about the right routines like jumping jacks, squats etc. here: Turnstep.com

I have personally done all of these workout routines, I recommend them all but you don’t need to do them all, just choose the one you think will work best =D.
Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

I’ve been dealing with acne as long as I can remember, through the years I have found useful items that help me combat acne and they actually work.
Q & A
Okay what do you suggest? What have you found exactly?
1. Well for starters I found using Aloe Vera Gel seems to really help with the process of healing my skin:

Aloe Vera is typically used to heal burns and sooth your skin, I found it can also quickly heal my skin after taking out some of my acne. This is my first technique.
2. My second technique has to deal with baking soda:
Just normal baking soda, take wet baking soda and spread it over the area in need and it should clear it up =D.
3. The one I find the best above all is the sun:

Good old sun exposure is the best way to clear up acne hands down. Just go outside whenever you can for at least 30 minutes, you’ll get some color while your at too =D.

My skin has pores that are large in comparison to other people, so Acne is a very common thing for me. But I know someday after puberty it won’t be as much of a problem. So I wait and use these techniques, post a comment and let me know your own techniques on how to get rid of Acne =D.
Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update

Don’t stay up to late at night, get quality sleep, you will gain energy and wake up earlier in the morning
Why got to sleep earlier? Well when I’m tired and have no more energy I want to sleep, but sometimes I stay up because I’m finishing either a movie or going to the next stage in a video game. THAT’S NOT WHAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO DO! You need quality sleep and I have learned this from experience, so I now try to get a great amount of sleep at night…not only do you gain energy in the morning BUT the exciting part of getting quality sleep is what happens after one/two hour(s) of rest. HGH (Human Growth Hormone) Kicks in when you are asleep, it helps you grow and prevents aging
(sweet!). You, again I say this, “gain energy” and give your body the time it needs to recuperate from the other day :D.
I used to stay up till 11:00 PM with my family and that was taking me down…so I started a schedule, let me know what you think of it :D:
1. Eat dinner get extra chores or finish up school work.(normal)
2. After I’m done with that I get comfortable and just chill with my family.
3. If I watch a movie I’ll watch something calming, so I can go to sleep easier.
4. After that it’s normally around 8-9:00 I get a glass of water and go to bed.
THERE, just those four steps. Not taking it to far, just relaxing and when I wake up in the morning I’m energized and ready for another day
Stay tuned for the step

Drink plenty of water.
WATER, LOT’S of water :D. Water is one of the bases of life, water keeps you moving, keeps you healthy and strong, cleanses your body of impurities, helps fight the common cold and sooo much more :D.
But what else can it do for those who are over weight or unhealthy? Well I drink (at least) eight ounces daily, sometimes I personally drink more since I am a bigger person and need much more water :D. When I started drinking eight cups daily I heard it from my mom who heard it from my uncle (ROFL long story) and my mom said he was losing weight. He originally had a small gut but when he drank the right amount of water he cleansed his body from extra fat. Intrigued by what my mom said I decided to drink the the recommended amount of water. I had at least 3 inches of flab around my was pretty sad and wanted SOMETHING to help me with my weight problem, when I started drinking 8 ounces of water a day I noticed results within a month! I (finally) could walk around my neighborhood without getting tired, I could fit in a pair of jeans or shorts without feeling embarrassed that my sides would stick out to far. It was and still is a wonderful experience…
Then when I wanted to learn more about what it could do for me I looked up the human body benefits from water on Google…and the following I am quoting is from Hdor Chester Health.org:
* Water helps regulate our body temperature through perspiration, which dissipates excess heat & cools our bodies.
* We even need water to breathe! As we take in oxygen & excrete CO2, our lungs must be moistened by water. We lose about 1 to 2 pints of water each day just exhaling.
* Asthma is frequently relieved when water intake is increased. Histamine plays a key role in regulating the way the body uses & distributes water & helps control the body’ s defense mechanisms. In asthmatics, histamine level increases with dehydration. Our defense for the body is to close down the airways.
* The kidneys remove wastes such as uric aced, urea & lactic acid, all of which must be dissolved in water. When there isn’t sufficient water, those wastes are not effectively removed, which may result in damage to the kidneys.
* Water lubricates our joints. The cartilage tissues found at the ends of long bones & between the vertebrae of the spine hold a lot of water, which serves as a lubricant during the movement of the joint. When the cartilage is will hydrated, the two opposing surfaces glide freely, & friction damage is minimal. If the cartilage is dehydrated, the rate of “abrasive” damage is increased, resulting in joint deterioration & increased pain.
* The actively growing blood cells in the bone marrow take priority over the cartilage for the available water that goes through the bone structure.
* Rheumatoid joint pain frequently decreases with increased water intake & flexing exercises to bring more circulation to the joints.
* 75% of the upper body weight is supported by the water volume that is stored in the spinal disc core. 25% is supported by the fibrous materials around the disc. The spinal joints are dependent on different hydraulic properties of water which is stored in the disc core. Back pain is frequently alleviated with hydration.
* Brain tissue is 85% water. Although the brain is only 1/50th of the body weight, it uses 1/20th of the blood supply. With dehydration, the level of energy generation in the brain is decreased. Depression & chronic fatigue syndrome are frequently results of dehydration.
* Migraine headaches may be an indicator of critical body temperature regulation at times of “heat stress.” Dehydration plays a major role in bringing on migraines. Dehydration causes stress & stress causes further dehydration.

Wow
that’s why it is so good to drink plenty of water, think of the benefit’s, if you do this you will change your life in a GOOD way :D, take it from me drink plenty of water, take a water bottle/container where ever you go so you gain wonderful benefits
Stay posted for the next step tomorrow…=D

Check out the next update called Step Seven
Don’t stop eating.
Now there are some who go on a diet that requires them to eat MUCH less then what they normally do…big mistake :(. You see if your body is used to a certain amount of food constantly coming into your system and you start on a rough diet like that your body would react to the shortage; you would begin to see more flab packing around your body. Why though? Your body is storing energy, it’s trying to help but lol it’s just making your situation worse…so, if you want to cut back a little on how much you eat don’t go and take a huge leap when you are not even ready to take one so big, again my mom says “everything in moderation” so take it slowly.
Now I would have this exact problem, I decided to stop eating the amount of food I was consuming and it only made matters worse. So I decided to work around the problem. I had a very large appetite and needed food constantly (you know I’m a teen and am often hungry lol :D) so I replaced most of what I ate with healthy and nutritious food. Instead of eating chips I ate an apple, and when I had a sandwich I used more veggies like tomatoes or lettuce on a turkey breast sandwich. Then I would have this craving for salad, that helped me quite a bit fortunately :D. I had many choices of what I wanted on my salad, I loved having honey mustard or ranch mostly as a dressing, then I would have a tall glass of water instead of soda to wash it all down. With my salad I would either have an orange or an apple, yum :).
See what I did to improvise, and I could eat till I was satisfied. Your only supposed to eat till your comfortable not full :D. If you have a problem like I had try using different ways to make a great lunch or dinner that can fill you up and not pack on any extra pounds :D. If you were going to have a Mexican style dinner or lunch, let’s say burritos, add more salad to your burrito, not a lot of meats or beans (you can also add salsa to give it that zesty flavor and it’s awesome). Now, let’s say it was summer, you were having a BBQ and the main course was chicken, why not make something healthy to go with it :D. I would personally make a lettuce, potato or fruit salad and it would make a perfect filler. As for the beverages I would suggest fruit smoothies, or a nice cool glass of water to wash it all down. NOW, let’s say I was about to have breakfast, what I would do in the morning to give me a great start would be cream of wheat, a glass of milk and an orange.
There are so many ways of making a healthy breakfast lunch and dinner you HAVE to try it :D. Post a comment if you have any idea’s for a healthy meal =D

Hey here is another update for you guys out there concerning High Fructose Corn Syrup…
Right now, just for bringing out my personal experiences, I’m going to discuss different brands of food I used to intake all the time…
For starters Hienz Ketchup…yep that’s right my KETCHUP had unhealthy amounts of High Fructose Corn Syrup. I would always use it with my morning hash browns, burgers, french fries really ANYTHING that had to have ketchup to go with it…I now look back and I remember all that time I used this brand of ketchup and not realize the damage it caused my body…BUT there is so much more still to post it was in almost EVERYTHING me and my family owned!
The brand of Mayonnaise my parents used to buy was called Best Foods, and it was mostly High Fructose Corn Syrup. I was not as big on the Mayonnaise as I was Ketchup but my father loved it, including my entire family everybody consumed it…they also noted that they were looking a bit flabby in some area’s just like I HAVE and that was from the Mayonnaise!
Every lunch break after school I would eat one pickle, I use to think oh it’s just a cucumber dipped in a tasty brine…nothing wrong with that :D. I one day got curious after learning about HFCS and examined the back of the pickle jar…no it couldn’t be; yep it was HFCS was one of the main ingredients for the brine…
Well those three things were the basic food items I would daily consumed along with healthy products…and if I tried something something new out of the refrigerator I would continue to consume more HFCS we were completely unaware of the disgusting over dose…
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner HFCS…ever day it was like that. I remember most of the other odd things I would eat/drink that had High Fructose Corn Syrup…
Let’s start with drinks. My mom and I loved Coca Cola, we must have had at least two a day…when we were just discovering the harmful effects of HFCS we took a look at the ingredients our Coke’s were full of…not only did it have HFCS but it also had the equivalent of SEVEN teaspoons of sugar per can…yeah I know gross…
After that we got scared, what about are other juices/soft drinks? Well we would get a brand of guava juice made by Curns and so were thinking Oh it’s all natural, and so tasty it must be healthy…we took a look at the back of the juice box and found HFCS second to the top of all the ingredients. Oh great, now it’s in our juices we thought used to be completely natural…what is going on?
We examined the obvious items that would have HFCS…are sugary products. We had a brand of Hershey’s chocolate syrup, the ingredients they showed on the back had HFCS first on the list…yeah really disgusting, I always seemed to feel sick after having ice cream or chocolate milk…it was to sugary the HFCS was to much…
Well those were the products that I can recall the most as I used them often in my food…how disgusting everyday I would ingest so much extra fat! I now know what gave me obesity and health problems…like acne for an example :/
If you know about products that contain HFCS post a comment explaining what it is and it’s brand name so we can alert others who might have the same food products, I’ll post it in the list of HFCS products below:
Brand Food type
Hienz/Ketchup
Best foods/Mayonnaise
Kosher Dill/Pickles
Coca Cola Co./Soda
Curns/Guava
The Hershey Company/Chocolate Syrup
